Carbed V6 pics

Does anyone have any pictures of the vacuum lines hooked to the carb? It is an 84 camaro. any diagrams??

Transmission: 200C 3 speed, 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.08, 3.42
The dealer should be able to give you a computer printout of the PCV/vacuum hose routings. I have an 83 but the routing of the lines changed each year so my car wouldn't help.

I wouldn't bother with the Chilton's manuual -- they show the routing of the hoses but the pic is too small to see anything good.

thanx, could i just hook up tranny vacuum and the choke vacuums and just plug the othere?

Well, unless you have a custom setup, neither of those exist on an 84 V6 Camaro. The carb has an electric choke and the tranny shift points are controlled by the TV Cable (older cars had a vacuum modulator valve).

At a bare minimum, you would need to hook up the PCV Valve.

A majority of the other vacuum lines go tothe charcoal canister.

If emissions don't matter, you can block off the A.I.R. system and the EGR -- but be prepared for a constant "check engine" light.
