Sweet! Yeah you'll have to let us know how the car looks AND drives after the change! I'm sure my springs are shot to hell by now, too. Rear springs are cake; you raise the back of the up with a hydraulic under the rear axle. Then put jackstands under the rear subframe, just in front of where the rear lower control arms attach to the subframe. Undo the lower shock-to-axle nuts. Start lowering the hydraulic jack. There'll be a point where the shock isn't putting any stress on the lower shock bolts, and the lower shock bolts will just push out of the axle. Lower the axle a bit more, and the springs just come free. Reach up, take 'em down, put the new ones up. Make sure to seat the new spring properly in the top insulator (top insulator comes down with the spring). Make sure too not to lower the axle all the way down- you don't want to hang the lower axle by the brake hose!!

Front springs, yeah, need an internal spring compressor... gotta undo the strut from the spindle. Can't remember if you need to remove the brakes and rotor to get at these bolts. And i think you need to line up the bottom coil so it ends at a drain hole in the lower control arm? Might want to check a Haynes manual, or, ask/search on the Suspension/Chassis board.

And let us know how it goes! I don't think I've heard of anyone using those Suspension Techniques springs yet. (JCWhitney sells 'em too, but with their stupid shipping prices, the more you pay, the more shipping is. I hate that. I could spend $5 on a 100 pound chunk of lead, and only spend $2 to ship it- but if I spent $100 on a computer ship, it'd cost $10 to ship. Go figure.)

I would prefer to drop my car with lowering spindles and do springs in the rear.

Good luck finding them cheap....especially considering IIRC the company who made the lowering spindles (Beltech, I believe) discontinued them.
