Car: 1989 Firebird Formula 350
Engine: 350 TPI
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 9 Bolt Borg Warner 3.27 gears
OK,my car is doing this...
Everytime I give it gas to start off(say from a stop sign)the car does'nt take off smooth like most cars.This seems more like when you give it gas it lopes or seems sluggish on take off.I have to give it a little gas to get it going right.Is this a possible vaccuum leak and\or does the IAC passageway needs to be cleaned.This motor probably has around 60k on it.Thanks dudes.

that could be all sorts of things
fuel system
maybe you should do the complete tune up if its having so much problems on the start
which mind you is the cars fastest part
the horsepower ain't much
but the torque is better than nothing
