Please explain better.
GASKET FOR THE OIL FILTER HOUSING?
THE O RING FOR THE BOLT THAT GOES THRU THE OIL FILTER HOUSING holding that item to the engine block?
This area of the project is still seeking refinement from us swappers.
I hope I solved my oil leaks from there on my 3.4 Blazer project.
This time...
I left oil filter housing alone & I just added a fitting to reuse my original S-10 Blazer oil sensor.
ON MY FIREBIRD oil filter housing....
I've obtained a new o ring for the bolt thru the housing & I have a new gasket for when the oil housing is removed to replace that gasket.
I believe you are referring to this problem?

yup, that's it. The item that the oil filter screws into. I had to keep the 2.8 one, as it ahd both the oil pressure sender & the fp cut off switch. have about 1/2-3/4 qt of valvoline on the garage floor.

Were my answers helpful then?
O Ring was a parts store item ($.25!)
Housing Gasket came in my Fel Pro gasket kit I had purchased for my swap. I also got that at GM too.
YOU SHOULD HAVE SPARE OIL FILTER HOUSING BOLT!!!
Find that, get new o ring & new filter housing gasket & have fun.
As I am/will be on my Firebird again...... shortly.
Yep leaking there, too!
Pissed at myself for not knowing better.
I was hoping I offered my solutions earlier for oil housing leakage but.....
Easy item to locate at a GM dealer.
The paperwork I got from CaliCamaro is minus the parts numbers, YET it cost me about $1.50 from a GM dealer.

I used a small (but adequate) amount of Black RTV on the housing when I resealed the one on my 83...
