It's getting cold here, roughly -20C.

MY heater makes this awful noise most of the time.

It's a real high pitch squeel.

OH Joy Oh JOy!!
The fan motor is about $30 (US $$)
It's in passenger fender area.
CAN GET TO 4 of 6 bolts EASY!!

Start early it's really not that bad at all but truly 4 of 6 bolts are easy!

oil it. old guy told me back in the day part of the service of a car was to drill a small oil hole at the end of the fan motor bearing to oil it. that small nub in the middle of it. drill a small hole in the top being very careful to only drill through the outer metal. crank it up and use an oil can to lub that bearing.

same things for house fans, no body oils them. I take fans out oe people trash and oil them. Still use two nice fans I got from the trash across the street. just need a good shot of some 20-50 once a year and that keep on working.

I TOTALLY AGREE
IN THE OLD DAYS!
These ARE NEW CHEAP FANS
Once they gone, trash it for $30 it's so cheap a fix.
Takes more effort to "fix" the old cheap original fan motor....
Seriously, these new motors are cheap. Wait until you feel how light they are!
Swap it out.
IF was an old 60-70's car, ya got a real good chance to make than happen.
Those motors are cast iron!
