Check engine light

Hi all! It's been a while since I've been here. Gotta question though. I was home a few weeks ago and while driving down the road with the cruise on, after about 10-15 mins the check engine light came on, then went off a few miutes later. Did the same thing the very next day. Anybody have any clues?

EGR. go on a long "quick" drive. It'll clear itself out.

Thanks, gotta check into that now. I've tried before to get a code out but couldn't get it to work. I'll try again.
