Ok, I got a fuel rail for my engine swap. I wanted the ablity to tread in a fuel line, rather then a "clip in connection".

I ask for a 3.1l fuel rail, got a 2.8l fuel rail, no biggie except...


It has a treaded hole in the drivers side!!!!!

What is this hole orginally for Cold start injector?? I was just gonna pipe plug it off, but then got a good idea from my dad to put a fuel pressure gauge in it since I want one anyway!!

So what are the threads of that hole, we have nothing here that screws in nicely to say THATS IT without doubt.

I'm sure summit or jegs would have a nice guage to plug that hole right ?

 

yup, fuel line for the cold start injector. I was toying w/plugging this & reusing the 3.4 base manifold, but I took Karls "written" advicce & kept, at least the intake setup, stock.

go ffor it, or use it as a modify tap for a wet kit

 

Thanks project. The nos kit is WAY off in a distance. I think for now I will do the guage.
