Stupid tranny fluid question

I know this is a horribly dumb question, and I hate asking it, but my brain is just not working today. I filled my tranny fluid before when it was low, but for the life of me I can't remember how to fill it. I was expecting a filler cap, such as for the oil, but of course there isn't one.. Is it just filled through the dipstick tube? I bought some Lucas transmission fluid additive that I wanted to try for the hell of it....considering it doesn't even void new car warranties, it couldn't possibly hurt..maybe it'll lighten my ultra-harsh shifts up a tad. Thanks guys.

Yep, goes in thru the check tube. Will need a funnel as that hole is quite small.

Glad you asked, I need to check mine again. Seems after I had to take it on an emerency trip, come back and changed oil it as leaking Time to check it again!!

If your fluid is really really old like mine was after your replace it, the motor will run smooter while you are at a light, don't ask me why but it does lol.

Not do get off topic but Dale did you notice and power increases with your crank pulley?

I bought the car with a bad tranny and break booster. While I was fixing all that I installed the pully. So I never drove the car running right and w/o that.

Now, my s10 and dodge, I installed pullys. YES, I noticed low end power. They claim to increase mpg, didn't notice that as I was in the peddle more often

Thanks guys... Felt like a retard for asking that. Didn't even need a funnel..the Lucas stuff was thick enough that i could line up the squirt nozzle with it before it ran out.
