Dang cold weather.

This morning when I got in my 85' Firebird this morning I got a suprise. A hairline crack appeared down the width of the dash overnight. It was -7 F this morning when I got up though. I'm planning on treating it with Armorall to keep the crack from getting bigger, but any other ideas of how to treat it would be appreciated.

The car will hit the 100,000 mile mark tomorrow on my way back to school.

Ouch sorry to hear about your dash. They are very sensitive to heat, cold and sunlight. I armorall my dash once a week to keep it protected. My dash which was oroginal cracked and looked like the grand canyon, but luckly I found a perfect dash from an 87 IROC. I have heard of people fiber glassing the cracks and painting the dash with some good results. You might wanna do a search on that?
