Prom Burning

Would the same equipment be involved in making a chip for my 89 Camaro and another car with the OBD II system? Would the cable be the only difference? I might invest in some of this stuff if I can use it on my Z24 or another newer car I might come by...

ODB2 is non "burnable" You have to buy the little hand held programer thing.

Yours has a removable chip.

Actually, the OBD2 is "flashable", meaning they can be "hot" reprogrammed. With out having to be removed.

possible? Yes, as it still goes throug the Diag port. Just finding the program source code.
