call me crazy but i just bought another v6!

well here is the story. drivin bytthe body shop thats right up the road from my house i see there wrecker has a white firebird hooked up on the back of it. its looked ok but i seen that the pass door and quarter panel was messed up a little. later today i stoped by and walked in. the owner knows me. i didnt see the bird sittin around anywheres. he says to me i got a car for you andy... and i say what u got... he says well i just got a 92 firebird in and the kid who owns it only wants $100 for it.... i said damn is that the white one i seen earlier. he says yea go take a look at ti its out back.... i walked out back and there it sat. pretty clean car besides the pass door and quarter being smashed. i opened the door sat in it and turned the key. she started right up and sat there purring like a kitten. poped the hood and there sat a 3.1 mpfi (figured because it was a 92) i got back in it ran it through all the gears and it shifted just fine. interior was a little dirty though. the only thing i seen wrong with the car is the pass side problem which is gonna get fixed. long story short the kid is gonna have larry (collision shop owner) put a quarter panel in it then im buying ti off the kid for $100. so i got myself another v6. one more ques what does a good runnin 92 bird 3.1 auto run in the quarter?

Wow that's one hell of a deal. The kids parents must want him to sell the car, If they are anything like mine were they complain every day how I will kill myself with the V6. So I showed them my friends geo storm with a 3cylinder and they gave up trying to get me to sell the 6.

Great Deal! Anyway our 3.1 Camaro has run a 10.84 1/8 mile, which would be according to some people a high 16 in the 1/4. Thats stone stock, 3.23 gears, street tires and my 125lb wife in the passenger seat. I just didn't have the heart to push her out when that new Altima in the other lane was coming by!

yea when the quarter gets put in it also needs a pass door im gonna put that in and have a half decent paint job put on it then drive it for a while then resell it. its not really a bad car. yea that exactly what the collision shop owner said to me. this kid must have hit his head to sell it for that cheap. lol
