broke plastic line going to my Air pump switching valve..

was doing spark plugs and i broke the plastic tube heading to the air pump switching valve. how critical is this? its a simple fix i just have to get a new line but is it alright to drive with it broken for a few days?

From the KING of broken plastic hard lines for the PVC & EGR STUFF!
SUCH A SIMPLE FIX
5/16" windshield wiper washer hose
Spit
Just patch the stuff together.
Make the TENSION very little/low to avoid more hard line breakage.
You're welcome.
Really this works so well.
My 1985 Firebird is all patched like that.
AT JUNCTION blocks, I pull out the old hard plastic line, insert a better longer hard plastic line, a patch of the rubber 5/16"hose, done.
You can fix this for less than $1.
Do it today!

I repaired some of mine with silicon hoses. I am thinking about fabricating some metal lines so that I can't break them just by touching them. Those plastic emissions lines wouldn't break so easily if the plastic wasn't so thin.
