Thinking I might have a fried ECM OR connector
I unpluged my MAF sensor , drove the car around , it still ran bad like it did before . You guys know the trouble I have been having lately . If you don't , scroll down to my "Where is it ? " topic .My plugs , wires , everything ignition and including fuel pressure check out fine .
Wayne,
Hey
This beats girl trouble,right!
Nothing like a car gremlin to take the mind off the heart!
NOW didn't ya have some garage do all this work and such?
Can't ya ask them for help?
I recall ya searching for wire help and such BUT perhaps there was the cause that ya haven't located yet?
What else ya do it lately?
Seriously, just swap in another MAF & see what happens

I'll bet it's just like mine.
Low idle speed, sputtering idle/not smooth, but doesn't die, just is about to.
Because that's what happened to mine right after I swapped out the bad alternator that was frying my ICMs (ALL SIX OF THEM).
What's weird about mine is that I can just go, (not idle, stop n go traffic) drive for about 25-30 miles (one way speeds of 65-85mph) then drive at idle low speed and the service engine light soon appears.
I already know what SES says.
CODE 34!
JUST WONDERING IF MY OVER CHARGING ALTERNATOR FRIED MY MAS, so it cooperates well at driving speed, yet at low idle speed, it flakes out.
WHAT IS STRANGE, my car seems to operate at low speed better, after the SES light appear.
I can get another MAS for free (warranty) just curious if the overcharging alternator fried a decent MAS unit. Before I swapped alternator, not a problem with the SES light for long time.
