Whats the easiest way....

I've got a 91 RS V6 and i noticed as I was changing oil, there was some anti-freeze coming out of a cover back behind the oil pan and in front of the transmission fluid pan (prob a dust cover).I think it may be the intake gasket leaking. How do I see if it is the intake gasket and if it is, what is the easiest way to put one back on???

get the engine up to operating temp and let the stuff dry. It will leave a white chalky trail from where it is leaking. If it is an intake gasket, You will need to remove the plenum, injectors, fuel lines and then remove the intake manifold.

It is a labor intensive project but fairly cheap when it comes to parts.

I would think if its coming from that area, it would be a freeze plug on the back of the engine.
