No.
I can't give any technical data, but I've got the chain out of an L98 sitting in my garage, and I just changed the chain on my V6 car. The V6 chain looks a lot longer than the V8 chain.
I can post pictures, if you want...

I paid $30 for my Dynagear set up made exclusively for a 60* v-6 application.
Works perfect and made the engine perform great.
More money spent not necessary.

i really want that gear setup. you guys know what im talkin about?
like a gear on the cam, then 2 gears under it, then one for the crank? is that what the dynagear setup is like?

Dynagear
brand name
Top gear, bottom gear chain
That's all.
Ya don't need a gear drive &
Two
The gear drives are very unforgiving in cam/crank/ engine abuse.
Chain does absorb some abuse/shock for engine protection.
That's why they stretch after a long period of milage.
