It sounded kind of wierd. Did you record that in a garage or shed? I never heard a 3.4l sound like that before. I don't know what to think about how it sounds. I can't say I like or dislike it because I never heard an engine that sounded like that before.

I used like, 1809 tech to record. Sneeked wifes boom box to the garage, started to record & started up engine. It's got the built in mic, which doesn't exactly sound good on play back, but hey, my last attempt was on a box w/no internal mic & I had to use headphones as mics to record. Sounds better in person, c'mon over, just call first

i'll have to try to get some sound clips of my highly modded 3.1 runnin with open headers! until i get clips, just trust me, it sounds awesome!

Besides the howl noise...which I suspect is your microphone unable to handle the bass and not your car...it sounds awesome! The revs have a very muscular sound to them...wish you did it more on that clip! But then that's what rewind is for.
