Windshield Sprayers Wont Work!!

K um.. my wipers work fine..motor works but it just wont spray..wtf do i do..?? does this means motors burn out..because it makes a noise..when i do it?

The washer pump may be shot. Replacements are around $10/15. Located at the base of the wiper motor were the fulid hose connects.

There is a little clip that you pull out then just pull the pump straight down. The clip has a little tab behind it that you have to push in to get it to slide out.

The motor is a metal shaft that spins a plastic impeller. If the impeller area runs dry, the metal shaft burns a hole in the center of that impeller. So the motor runs, but the impeller stands still, doesn't push any water, and you're stuck dropping the coin on a new motor.

Happened to me 3 times already... same problem each time. When I hit the junkyards this summer I'm looking for a washer bottle with a pump in it (used on the f-bodies with rear window wipers), and rigging my pump up to use the in-bottle pump instead of the on-wiper-motor pump.
