Welcome to the board.
First I would like to say that your going to have a tough time finding 2 inch lowering springs for your V-6. Myself, I feel your better off getting V-8 lowering springs for the rear end, and drop spindles for the front. As you will see most lowering springs are for V-8 cars.
The normal force acting on the V-8 springs is greater then that of the V-6 springs. So if you put in V-8 lower springs you might actually get a higher car in the front then you originally had.
So that is my reasoning for V-8 springs in the rear, and drop spindles in the front.
Now here are a few old threads.

And another thing, you really don't want to have to buy new springs to cut them. Another advantage drop spindles.

Cutting a high quality , new aftermarket spring isn't a big deal, as long as you don't go crazy with how much you cut, or use a torch to do it with.
We used Eibach Pro Kit springs for a V8, cut 1/2 coil in the front. Easy. If you don't cut them, the car will sit higher than it would with the engine out! Eibach recommended we cut them for this application BTW (87 2.8 V6 Firebird).
They have been in for over a year, and haven't sagged, lost tension, or anything else people tell you springs will do when they cut them. Cutting used original springs is a different story, though.
Next one we do, we'll probably use Sportlines though for a little more drop...not sure if they'll require cutting or not.

I got a set of suspension techniques it was a 1 inch drop looks good gets rid of that gap in the back wheelwell. You do have a more bouncy ride at first it sux then you get used to it.
