hesitation from a cold start, powerloss

i have been having a problem with my 92 camaro manual, when it has been sitting for a long time, like over night, or even the time i am in school, when i go to start it it dosent want to push the car in 1st gear below 2000 rpm. it wants to stall if i dont get it enough gas to rev higher to go.
i have a new coil, new cap, and distributor, new bosh wires, and new bosh plugs.
i was thinking it could be a fuel problem?

if i tap the gas on a cold start i can make it idle real lopey, kinda like a heavily cammed car.
if i am driving down the road in 3rd gear, and i let off the gas, when i go to give it gas again, it hesitates a half second and then goes. kinda jerks you back even with light pressure on the pedal.

ps once the engine warms up the hesitation is gone.
i feel like i have a little power loss, help me out, i want to get her workin good.

I'm having the same problem man!! I can have all the same symptoms and have replaced all the same parts! Also I replaced my fuel filter thinking it might have been that as well! So KED85 you're telling me if I replace my EGR valve I should be in business? And without my shop manual here at school with me right now, that would be the thing that connects to the passenger side header? Thanks.

The BLESSED THING about this webite is the help offered.
I know my solution was that EGR.
BUT before I bought it, I did every vacuum trick I could think of and then checked, cleaned carbon & didn't doubt myself (let's try fuel filter & see, etc.).
Go check the May 2003 Chevy High Perf issue for guidence.
My end result is that I needed to replace it.
Yours being electric PROBABLY DOESN'T HAVE A SPRING INSIDE IT!
SO maybe VACUUM SIGNAL TO YOUR EGR SYSTEM IS THE CULPRIT!
PS I almost wanted to sell this car, the problem was so scary & unsettling.

BIG TIP IF YA FLOOR THE CAR & IT ACCELERATES GREAT,
EGR could be your problem.
That last line... was what was making me go nuts with a solution!
Clear the computer, first, then let car "learn idle" and see if the code reappears.

Remember computers only sees a problem, not what leads to the problem! Hope that's a clue.

I'd rather see ya spend the $200 on a needed college book or a great date with a special lady!
