I had no clue that your car was that nice [QUOTE]
Thank you sir, And even more nice with your guys' headers. Now you know why I wanted them done with SS & Coating to boot- I take pride in this car and want things that are special and will last

Thats a really unique factory paint scheme I will have to say that.
But I really like it.
You have a sweet ride.

Edit: Those of you that haven't seen any of my suspension posts may not know that the entire underneath of this car is mainly Spohn components (full adjustable and mostly rodends) Including the solid mount Spohn torque arm and tubular SFC's. I am good friends with Jimmy at Darrell Youngs racing transmissions and he has fully built a 700R4 from ground up especially for this car's specs. TRhe rear axle is an Iroc 10bolt that I went through and installed an Auburn posi w/3.23's and 4-whl Discs. There are way too many goodies to list- basically the suspension is as built as you can get with the exception of stock front A-arms(awaiting if Global West ever build the units they claim they will.) This car will turn 1.07g's on the street tires shown above!(when tires are hot of course
) 34mmSolid front swaybar, 800#springs-23mm solid rear bar, 225# springs- 3ptSTB, HMS custom aluminum strut mounts, WB, Baer Bumpsteer....etc. Last edited by AGood2.8; Mar 30, 2003 at 11:33 PM.

I have the same wheels, and I really like them, but i was washing them and a "piece of chrome" fell off!! It just flaked off like it was tape. Ive ordered three things from hawk third gen, including the wheels, and I've been very unhappy with there service and products. They send me an ss hood and when I got it it already had a chip in it, so I called them and they said since I opened the freight box it cant be changed. So I was wondering if you got them from hawk as well, anyways nice car!!!!

OH MY G*D. That is one of, if not the nicest camaros that I have seen. I hope that after I am done with my car it can look that good also. How about some shots of the interior and more of the engine. Have you rebuilt the engine, if yes, how much power do you think you are putting out now?

Rear seats shot.
The motor has a few goodies done to it but is mostly stock with a very hot ignition and plug gap(AUTOLITE Plugs), Powerpulley, lower running temp (182* most always thanks to a custom 4-core radiator) Dual snorkel gutted, 1.52 roller rockers, high flow catback setup w/ flowmaster80, fuel pressure bumped up, r134 A/C, Custom chip work, 26,000 on new GM crate motor that went in about 3-4yrs back. I have run an unofficial 15.8 then 15.9 consecutively in this car the way it sits- most of the power comes from the built drivetrain & trans(this car puts what little power it does have to the pavement.)
As for future motor work- I have been slowly accumulating hardcore parts for an HT3.4 build up now that I have stainless steel custom headers and y-pipe (all ceramic coated) on the way thanks to Mike and Greg at PF&E in Mich.
I am doing major work to my home constantly that takes time and money(And much higher priority than my vehicles) so the motor work may not be done for another year or so- I'm not in a major hurry but do 100% intend to (and will) build this car into about a 220-240 HP 60*V6- I already own many exotic race quality parts for this motor that I am not going to bother putting on the current 2.8.

First off I just have to say you have a beauty of a car! Love the rims! Now I have a question, How much did you drop your car? Like 1.5 inches? How is the clearance? Are you scraping everywhere you go? I want to drop my car after the paint job about an inch and a half but am worried about clearance. Oh, and how did you drop it? Did you cut the springs? Thanks a lot! Eric

Edit: if you notice closely in the picture- I have my 200amp Powermaster alternator sitting on top of it along with my 62mm TB. The 200Amp alt I put on it with a alt power pulley-charged fine but made contact with the Edelbrock STB because it was much larger- I ended up taking it back off and will go to a 140amp Powermaster in the near future- I only have a problem with the stock unit while at night with the a/c on [(and headlights) common here in So. Calif.]. The 140amp is the same size alt as the stock one so clearence will be fine, but still wont put out enough a low rpm to run the alt power pulley with everything turned on.
