2.8 V6 Rebuild?

ok guys.and girl..my 2.8 has about 130,000 miles on it..and its leaken a little oil...I think its coming from the valve covers..well..how hard would it be to just rebuild my engine is there any stock rebulid kits for are 2.8s? and if so what does it all come with? and how much? thxs!! and oh ya..

a rebulid is not necessary to stop the leak, just replace the valve cover gasket(s)

yea i know...but its allso got a ruff idle what can i do about that? just thinking it give that old ran down engine a little perk!

I rebuilt my V6 at about the same mileage mainly because I was adding a perf. cam and intake,using only a rering kit,but your wear may be more than mine requiring over bore and pistons. It may be more convenant to buy a low mileage 2.8 or for a perf. upgrade a 3.4,that way you could keep your car on the road right up to the engine swap.
