Does anyone happen to know what this part is

im not real sure where it comes from or where it goes, but its a line of some sort, near the oil filter. its a rubber line, and covered in some fluid, looks like maybe power steering or oil. does anyone just happen to know what that is? i'll examine it closer tomorrow.

on my 85, I have an oil pressure sending unit & an oil pressure safety switch for the fuel pump. On the 3.4, it only had 1 big 'ol wire boot thing comming off. not sure which one it is on that, but yours should be one of those.

Get that sucker replaced! You need an oil pressure gauge! Never know when it might alert you to a catastrophic problem and save your @ss...or your engine...or both.
