SES light keeps comming on
When I go past 4500 rpm more than 2 times, my SES light comes on. If I restart my car, the light goes out, unless I go past 4500 rpm again. My car drives normally, no odors smells, or signs of anything broken.
Any ideas why my SES light is comming on in that particular case?

Click HERE , scroll down to the Miscellaneous section...it's the first part. Tell us what code you get. I had an idea how to do it but, I don't like screwing around with the electricals. Just becuase I have over 2700 posts, it doesn't mean I know everything. I'm still learning, so cut me a little slack bro.
Believe it or not, I drove my car again, went up to 5000 rpm repeaditly and the SES light is not coming on anymore. In case you are wondering, the bulb still works for the SES light because I checked it before I left my car. I guess this is my car's subtle warning to me to take it easy on my 2.8l.

Yo Nixon, the reason I don't know about that is because my car isn't as problamatic as most of yours.

Tom...not really! I think he's just f*cking with me and forgot to put a face after it so I know he's doing it in good humor. Lol..
I hardly ever got SES lights either...I got one intermittent one for my O2 sensor though..took me forever to get that fixed. Although after I put the new one in, I didn't clear the computer... Big mistake.. Car idled a little funny, and started throwing codes for other sensors that were operating just fine! Told me my Manifold Air Temperature sensor was bad, and I think it threw me some other sensor code too...and then the O2 sensor code came back 5 minutes later! Didn't stop throwing nonsensical codes until I reset the computer. The damn things think they're sooooo smart....

It was my IAT, the one by the air filter. That, and my MAF connection wasn't extremely tight, causing a small leak at high speeds.

I fixed the problem. I had a loose sensor, It wasn't plugged in all the way, so I plugged it in.
