esc & knock sensors

esc & knock sensors

i have an 89 rs 2.8 where would the esc and knock sensors be ? and is there any way to test them?

Knock sensor will be pass side, down buy the starter.

ESC?? I guess you mean the knock sensor module?? That I'm not sure of, havent delt with it yet.

so is there only 1 knock sensor? i thought there would be one on each side of the block . and i still cant find that darn esc module

88, please stop looking; there isn't one! It was only on 90-92 3.1's. ESC wasn't on the 2.8's either (retards the timing when a knock is felt), so you don't have to look for that, either.
