What if you had more $$$$$$$$$?

I was just curious if you guys would keep your V6 and continue to build if you got like an extra $4,000 for just the fun of it? Or would you even still have a thirdgen?

Personally, I would still go through the 3.4l swap. I love the little 6 for some reason not to swap in a V8, or get another thirdgen or another car.

I would've kept my Third Gen and used it as a daily driver, while mildly modifying it...and used the extra cash to go hardcore on the 5.0. How long you think it'll take this post to get locked out as non-technical?

With extra money?
I'd have bought a HOUSE in Malibu along the coast to Fix & Sell for profit.
I'd be driving the economical V-6 3.4 Firebird to do my work there.
AND "Jennifer" would have a paint job & finished interior by then!

Named after the girl from whom I bought the Firebird.
She was one sweet BABE, too!
My Corvette is named after my favorite beach in Maui, Makenna
My 1967 Camaro convert is named after a take off from the best Ford ENGINE the 427SOHC Cammer
My Blazer is named for one of my weaknesses in Women because it came from Arkansas, (Southern) Belle Blazer.
No names for my 3 motorcycles, yet.

Easy... $1k to finish working on the '88 Camaro, and the other $3k into my '81 Trans Am! Get that 400 rebuilt, with a TKO in back of it.

that 4 grand would go into the bank for me..... it would eventually go into the purchase of a rear ended ls1 fbody so i can hopefully swap engine/drivetrain/interior. jeez, that will be waaaayyy in the future

oh so many choices...if i had a spare 4k i'd probably: do the 3.8 buick turbo swap and if I had any more money left over, I'd spend it on the suspension...

..if i had $4000...well after this summer i WILL have $4000, and the first thing is an engine tranny swap. haven't figured out EXATCLY what i'm gonna do yet. maybe swap a used 5.7L, or buy a rebuilt one, or get a crate one. i'm stillin weighing the pros and cons. Buying a new tranny for the new engine will clean out my $4000, and make me very happy i'm getting tired of 140hp. if i wasn't going to replace the engine/tranny, i'd get rims, a cowl hood, paint job, and 4th gen seats.
