EGR, PCV, ign. coil, engine can't get clean air, could be cap and rotors.

I would think that your having problems with your EGR valve. Because i had some problems with my egr valve and it idled like **** and cut off at redlights. But it was idling high most of the time. The egr valve is made for emissions and it has alot to do with your idling. Reply back with details.

you have to either find out whats wrong with the EGR valve or buy a new one and install it. what happened with mine is the screws broke off and the whole egr vavle was leaking air. you have to get up under there and find the problem. send me a pic of your engine and ill circle the egr valve.

Have you checked the IAC valve. Those are the symptoms of one that is out of whack. Take is off and clean it and set it to the factory settings. If you need info on this be sure to use the "search" button first. Just type in "clean IAC" and you should get what you are looking for.

First of all it's NOT your EGR, remember the 1991 had a electronic EGR vs the old vacum type and the computer will set a code if it doesn't like it.

IAC trouble, I bet when you turn the A/C on and stop it dies.
Replace your IAC and see what happens. I remember mine falling apart in my hand it was so died.

If you think your intake is a problem, put the old one back on and see.
