Insurance for a V6
I was looking to pick up a V6 1983 camaro for insurance purposes and use it as a platform to build a nice little road runner car, was wondering a few things, #1 being the insurance per month! my IROC's is ridiculous, and I don't want to be paying near as much for this car. What would it cost for liability alone, per month for an '83 Z with a clean record? also, can V8s bolt up to the K-members on these cars or do I need different motor mounts? how much do they weigh?

Obviously it is going to vary from state to state, insurance company to company. But I don’t think you can go wrong with a V6 third gen – the liability insurance on my 84 V6 Bird was cheaper than on my 82 Volkswagen Rabbit Truck!!!
