That should get your speedo working. You've got a lot of work ahead of you.

Look at your oil guage
It only reads to 60.
The V-6 reads up to 80!
Serious
next is hooking up the guages to read right.
What ya need do is find a 3rd gen V-6 guage set up & insert that.
I started with a V-8 gauge set up & had to HUNT for a V-6 tach & V-6 oil guage to read right & correct.
I have yet it insert gauges in my car.
& that sucks but I'm too busy now.
When ya find that V-6 stuff also remove the block plug from wiring harness.
Match that plug to your current V-6 dash wireharness for the gaugues to read correctly.
That's what I have to do, too.
ALSO change the sending units for the oil sender & the temp sender. You have now senders for idiot lights (I had that detail to cover, also).
IS YOUR GIRLFRIEND A CHEERLEADER?
Best girlfriends are ex cheerleaders!

thanks ked85 i'm gonna have to hunt down a v6 but here in toronto it's rare to see any f bodys in the junk yard, most gino's keep them lol, i only saw 3 in the junkyard 2 were maro's and this firebird, and my girlfriend isn't a cheerleader but she's hott!!!!!!!!
thanks guys
thanks guys
I also tried to "swap " parts from one F body dash to another.
NOPE I had choice of Camaros & Firebirds in the yards.
I ended up using Firebird stuff I EVENTUALLY FOUND even after I had the V-6 Camaro stuff out.
The Camaro stuff didn't fit as easy in the Firebird dash.
Happy hunting!
Great score on your heart!
