governor removal???

governor removal???

Hey guys i'm new here been watchin the boards here since october. anyway i got a 92rs with a 3.4 (3.1 piston melted).
and i wanna know how too take off the governor on the car.
the only things i know that were off the old motor is the crossfire injection and the computer i think. anyhelp would be apprieciated.

Axle/Gears: A weak one & a chained one
Uhm...crossfire injection?? Speed governor is on the computer...either get a custom prom or buy one of those jet chips... Not sure of any other way...

I think you mean MPFI ( Multi Port Fuel injection) seeing how it was either that or 2 barrell carb for our V-6's from 82-92.

As far as the removing the governor you need a chip, because the governer control is actually inside the computer itself.
