Well, I just did one myself, and let me tell you....its not fun. Here is a basic run down...
1. Remove linkage from inside the car (shifter)
2. Remove driveshaft.
3. Unbolt tourque arm from the transmission.
4. Jack up transmission and remove crossmember and pull transmission out.
5. Remove clutch push rod that hooks near the bellhousing.
6. Remove dust cover from bottom of bellhousing.
7. Remove bellhousing.
8. Remove Clutch/pressure plate and flywheel.
Once the flywheel is off the rear main seal is staring right at ya. The hard part is putting the tranny back in. You have to align it just right with the clutch. My suggestion is go get a clutch alignment tool for $2 at a car parts store, make sure it fits your clutch and when your putting on your clutch and pressure plate after you got the flywheel on, just shove that puppy in there and bolt it up.
Put the bellhousing back on and put the throw out bearing in place then remove the alignment too and unless you got someone to help you.....
Eat good meal, because that tranny weighs about 80 pounds and your gonna have to lift it a good foot or two and try to keep it at the right angle without moving the clutch around and going through the middle of the throught out bearing. Its a pain......I spent a good 2 hours trying by myself and finally got it.
As for the rear main seal replacing, your on your own, because mine is leaking again, I don't think I put it in correctly so I gotta go through this crap again this weekend. Hope this helps.
