I am the semi-proud owner of a shady, beat to death Firebird parts car...
Today I bought my buddies girlfriends 1988 Firebird 2.8 to use as a parts car for my 1991 Firebird 3.1. The '88 has been beat to death, a rolledback odometer, and totalled in an accident.
I plan to use the distributor, plenum, thermastat, valve covers, serpentine belt, and a few body panels to replace the rusted ones on my '91
All this for.....$100 cash!
I will post some pictures tomorrow when the car is delivered to my garage!
You can see pics of my rebuild in progress here...

Thanks, Joe E.

I paid $300 for mine as a "rolling wreck" too!
Damn proud of it as all the stuff done to make it a daily enjoyable driver.
Can't wait, "underside" suspension almost all "done"
Next is final body work (nose & air damn skirt) & replace interior, add some optional electric gadgets (seat & trunk) & do a headliner. I'd like one more better fender
I leave on "seat covers" due to hot sunny seats!
I'd wish mine was a T Top yet I own 1974 T Top Corvette & a 1967 RS/SS Camaro convert for the real open air feeling
KEEP THE BIRD FLYING!
SEEK OUT A 3.4 mill now for the future swap!
GREAT SCORE!

WHEN
ya bring your car out to the Pacific Ocean for a PICTURE together!!!
I watched Knight Rider other night.
GAVE ME NEW RESPECT
for my rear end view of the brake light panel.
I used to walk past KITT, all the time at Universal Studios, several of them!
Still searching for a perfect spare center brake light panel.
PS I actually had fun watch "Knight Rider", too!

Hey Projectbird, the seats are the silver/gray color. I'm not quite sure about the condition however
I know that the front seats are pretty torn up. Drop me an e-Mail and I'll let you know!
