Egr Block

heard you can block your egr hose, ( the one going from the egr to the manifold) you block it with a metal plate or somthing (i guess like a gasket) suposedly you get ALL fresh air into the engine and no recycled air, so my question is...... is this worth it, any power gains? because i have TONS of sheet metel, i could do it in a couple of minutes, just wondering what you guys think about that.

My guess would be the gain is very minimal and is going to cut down on your mpg too. For me the loss in emmissions and mpg is not worth doing for such a low power increase.
