mods w/o touching the engine

i have searched already and found many cheap mods posts but almost all of them are engine work. my engine has a 3 year warranty and it hasnt even been a year so i dont want to void my warranty by having engine work done.

my question is are what are the cheap mods for a 3.1 that isnt engine work?

I was almost going to say, none, but then...

REAR END!!

Get a limited slip (aka POSI) and 3.73 gears. That'll help out!

what type of engine ya got? i have a jasper and my 3 year is just about up, did develop a slight oil leak recently, but i'll be getting that fixed come next week. I'd have to say transmisison upgrades, vette servo/shift kit/ etc. The rear would be nice too, 3.73's will be very sweet out back, (even if it was in an open diff) and with a vette servo and a kit that thing would chirp tires into second gear like it's nothing. Also think cold air induction, or atleast remove that factory airbox and replace it w/ a conical K&N.

One of the best mods is to get the air cleaner setup from a 2.8l Camaro. This is an over-the-radiator setup that pulls cold air from the very front of the car.

Best part is that it is all GM and looks stock as all get-out.

If the engine blows up due to him installing a CAI filrter incorrectly, they certainly won't be covering it...
