I Saw The New 2005 Caddy Sts On The Road & Why That's Important***v660* Info!

The other day I was driving over to my other house in Van Nuys CA for working on it.
I see this "Disguised" car.
I knew it was a Detroit Manufacture PreProduction car being Road Tested in an actual environment.

In my Firebird I pull up along side & I call out the window,
"I Give up, What is it?"

The driver shakes his head saying "He can't Say!"

I look again...
"IS IT A GM?"
He shakes his head big time!

Weeks pass

AUTOWEEK MAGAZINE
July 7th ISSUE
THERE IS THE CAR I SAW!!
IT literally took me about two minutes to pick up my jaw as I read what I saw

1. I WAS RIGHT, IT IS A GM RIDE
IT is the NEW 2005 CADDY STS I SAW DRIVING AROUND (look at a 2003 Caddy Seville & "you'll see" the new 2005 edition)

2. I SAW THE NEW 3.6 DOHC 60* V6 ENGINE IN ACTION!
IF ya recall it has been posted by myself & others about the new 60* mill being reissued by GM & it's updated with great features!!

This car I saw, the NEW 2005 CADDY STS IS THE FIRST CAR TO SHOWCASE THE NEW 60* ENGINE!

What I'm saying is that I saw all 3.6 60* DOHC V6 255 HORSEPOWER driving the streets of Van Nuys, CA.

Go find the new Autoweek magazine & read all about what I saw.
Enjoy your weekend!
STREET LEGAL Headers possibly coming, a new more powerful hi-tech version of the 60* V6 being offered to public in 2005 model year cars, my AC works great (it is only about 90*-100* out here)...

WHATA GREAT COUNTRY!

know that new CTS (catera) is going ot have a 60* in it, didn't know about the STS .... always thought the seville would stick w/ it's northstar engine (which is also a 60* block i believe, but w/ 8 cylinders). The CTS is also a rear drive car, unless they changed the setup of the new STS, it'd probalby be FWD like the older versions, mening we'd be needing CTS motors if we were looking for a truely modenr update.

GOOD POINT!
Have to admit, I couldn't exactly tell IF the test car I was seeing was FWD or RWD
BUT
recalling the Hot Rod article, this new Caddy should be a RWD car.
The Autoweek article didn't state FWD nor RWD either.
But Autoweek article did specifically say I saw the next 2005 Seville/STS.
I'm still dreaming of the day I get a 74 Vega hatchback or wagon, stuff it with a Caddy Northstar 60* V8 & my left over 60* auto tranny I have in front of my place, hidden from view. That would be a very fun car for drag racing, something Motion Performance never thought up!

I have heard that caddy is going back to RWD cars from now on. So is a few other brands that realized they will sell more if they are.

All I wanna know is if it will bolt up to mt T5???
if so Im having it.
Ill steal a caddy and leave it enginless in an alley.

Cadillac...ahhck. The motor... :hail: You know I laugh to myself everytime I see a commercial for that Caddy CTS...because listening to the exhaust note....it could very well be mistaken for my old 3.1.

the only worthy caddy engine, the absolute 500CI. Otherwise get a 88 Gt Fiero, and get that northstar in that baby.
