Good price for this?
I know the market sucks for v6's but i need a price
85 firebird s/e 2.8L 700r4
new grey interior B&M megashifter and grant steering wheel the outside has some dings and stuff and one quarter pane lhas some bondo issues. Im giving a new replacement quarter panel and rear panel with it .. also a new rear bumper. Car has 82 trans am front and rear bumpers. Also giving three sets of taillights , another set of headlight motors and a buch of other accessories with it. Its a hardtop w/ the roof console. The engine needs a MAF .. it runs fine with the MAF unplugged but stalls with it plugged in. I have a junkyard MAF which im not 100% sure if it works or not but ill chuck that in for free.
With all that whats a good estimate of what my v6 is worth

My guess is about $2500. Im not an expert, but this is compared to some third gens i saw for sale. I bought mine for about 1600, but it needs some work done to it. I have also seen an IROC sold for 3500 in good shape, so i'm thinking somewhere around 2500.

I'd give you like $800 for it. Dude... seriously... an '85 bird isn't worth much... then it's an auto on top, bad paint, needs engine work. I picked up a '92 3.1 with a bad ECU and a cherry paint job for $1000. Got my '88 with 84k miles, good exterior, good interior (just the dash was FUBAR'd) and a 5 speed for $1400 from a dealership..
