V6 to V6 swap

I have a 92 firebird 31. 700 at trans . The engine threw a rod. Besides the 3.1 , what other V6 engines will bolt right in with all acces. including ac . I read the 3.4 boogie Will that drop right in my year . I think my chooses are 2.8 / 3.1 / 3.4 correct me if i'm wrong . I would use all my senors as they were all good and not change anything with the computer . what othr cars came with these engines?

yes, yes, yes, and 1993-95 F-bodies. Some 95 models came w/the 3.8 engines, but they were only the cali cars.

im sure it was covered in keds article, but make sure to get the 3.4L out of an f-body. Like the 2.8L/3.1L the engine does an excellent job in front wheeled drive cars also, and is equipped in monte carlos, luminas, impalas, etc.....so, stick to rear drive, it'll be much easier on ur swap.

Oh yeah, try to avoid the 81-84 2.8's. They have smaller crank journals, a less-powerful camshaft, and less-flowing heads. If you've gotta go with a 2.8, try to get 85-up.

Hm, actually, on f-bodies (Camaro/Firebird), I know that for sure regarding the camshaft and heads. I don't know how the cam and heads were the same/different for S10-Blazers.

(The crankshaft issue went for all 2.8's.)
