bad idle and codes 45 & 54
drove the 3.4 just a little bit ago... but the idle is off. It idles 800-900 rpm, but jumps around a little. Accelerating it's fine, but when off the gas it jumps a little again. Random, not constant.
Codes 45 and 54
new: O2 sensor (pretty new, and wire is not touching exhaust pipes), Fuel pump, fuel filter (pretty new), fuel pump relay, Accel 17lb injectors, fuel pressure regulator, rotor, cap, plugs, wires...junkyard EGR vaccum solenoid (just got it yesterday)... junkyard MAF (had it long before the motor swap).... all vaccum lines are hooked up and good as far as I can tell.
I had code 54 before the motor swap, 45 is new as of today. Fuel pump has never turned on with the key to the on position, but we hot wired the oil pressure switch to a wire that was only hot when the igition was on up near the group of relays on the drivers side... but the pushing the brakes killed the motor for some reason. Unhooked the hot wiring and the brakes were fine. No idea on that, but code 54 was gone when we did that... odd... although we did not drive it with the switch hotwired.

. Here is a link to a troubleshooting flowchart and an explanation of the code, it's towards the bottom of the topic:
