Did and v6 birds come with the t-tops from the factory??

i think i may get a 80ish bird and was curious and from the search it seems that some people have it but only in the 3.1 or 3.4 and not factory??

also will a v6 feul sender work in my 5.0 TBI??

yes, t-tops available on all 6cyl models. maybe even the 4cyls too

TBI? ok,

the sender should work on the f-body, it's based on an ohm reading range.


edit: like the gauges, but what's up w/a 120 sppedo? 85 is where it's at

 

85??? you must be kidding lol i love my 120 speedo by the way the guages are from my TBI... the 6 cylinder i may get will be a daily driver while i put my new heads on this car! so i may need you guys for all my v6 needs! but thanx to you i'll be able to read my gas again with the v6 sender in my car

 

yeah 85. That way, when the car running the way it should, I could technically burry the spedo @ the track on a stock engine

i've got a 140 mph speedo...wasn't for a v6 but'll work, prob is i've gotta do a guage conversion to use it, cause i've got the ole' mechanical unit...but getting something like that for free makes whatever mods needed more than worth the time and energy, plus it'll be nice when start the Ls1 swap.

 

Somebody on here had a white face one, I think he made it himself. I got my hands on a copy, and switched it over to black. I honestly can't remember his name.

The 89 Turbo TransAm had a V6- what was the speedo on that?

 

Thats a good question, my best guess would be that since it is a trans am, it would have a properly calibrated v8 speedo. I could be wrong though.

 

more likely than not it also had the 140mph speedo, just a thought....since all of the cars since then would have been electric speedos, all they would have to do is get the VSS from the tranny, and boom, in business.
