Electrical problems sorta long

Ok I have some wierd electrical problems that have left me scratching my head trying to figure out ware to start looking for probs.

1.) First started with the fan not turning on before over heating. I replaced the CTS, Gauge temp sensor, and fan relay. No help. So I just added a switch and kick it on when I start the car. The fan will turn on when you turn the AC on. So I know the presure sensor works.

3.) Next I started to notice that my temp gauge will read funny even after replacing it's snsor. It will read kinda high then sudenly drop about 10 degrees and jump and drop again and so until it finaly setles down ware it should be. It doesn't do it all of the time just every so often.

4.) Started having starting problems. I would hear the solinoid engage, but engine wouldn't crank. Some times will start if I quickly try again. other times I have waiti 5 or 10 min. This doesn't happen all of the time only when it feels like it. Hot or cold.

5.) About 1 week after the starting issue I lost my SES. Now it's back. Didn't have time to track down why before it started working again. Not really a prob any more just thought noting it would help.

I'm at a lose for ware to start looking for problems. I may have several problems at once. Maybe only problem with several symptoms. Any help will be greatly appriciated!!!

Alt. is new. I lost the original in a fire. Small fire only damage was to the alt. and + battery cable, but scared the crap out of me. Battery is only 6 months old and checks out fine, but didn't replace it after the fire. I have also checked all fuses. I have also done some wiggle tests with some of the wire sunder the dash and no luck.

Doward here...

I'd try replacing the main battery grounding straps.. might be a bad ground. Also, be sure that all sensors are good and clean, and the area they screw into is very clean (wire brush works good here) so you get a very nice ground. Teflon tape will often skew the ground, too...

I will check them this weekend. I don't use teflon on the sensors. It screws them up big time.

Yeah, sounds kinda like a ground problem to me too. The gauge spiking part particularly.
By the way, I just have to point this out.....you know you have no 2.) right?

It's there you just have to squint!

I know ware the ground strap on pass side engine is at, but not sure if there are any others. I swear that I saw 1 or 2 more. I just can't remember ware I saw them. Should I replace them all together or just clean them up?

Thanks!
