A/C problem, pls help

Hi,

The hot air keep coming out under the dash when the A/C and fan is "off", when I turn on the A/C(in any other position which is not off) then it stop! I can't drive without turn on the A/C because the hot air will keep coming under the dash, it will be hot inside, why ?

When I kick down on the highway (about 2nd or 3th speed on the auto transmission, over 3000 rpm), the A/C start to blow the windshield, when the action over, it return to normal , so strange??

It is killing me, pls help

question

Have you or the PO put bigger speakers in the dash???

Is there good speaker in the front dash, or sound reall good and clean. most liklet not the stock ones???

Well to cram a decent set of 6x9 speakers into the front dash, requires alot of duct removal under the dash. Which causes this strange effect. Not sure what all it does but it will make warm air come through the botom all the time.

Not allot of air but enough to drive ya nuts.

For even better speakers to be installed, you gotta cut into even more of the dash, remove tons of crap and cut into the speedo housing.

I have only 1 hyphenated word for you, T-Tops. They are great and atleast around here you can jsut drive around with them off. Plus if you have a good stereo everyone gets to hear it and girls getta see ya driving a hella cool car. Atleast around here these ideas work so ya good luck to ya.
