wiring glitch...

i've got an '89 RS and I keep blowing the fuse labeled f/p inj #2. does anyone have a wiring diagram for this? I know it's the driver's side bank of injectors, and there's supposed to be a pink/black wire that leads from the injectors to that fuse. Also something weird is that when the fuse blows there will be a puddle of gas on the intake around injectors #2 and #4. any advice and/or a wiring diagram would be appreciated. thanks

Well, I'm going to ignore the wiring problem completely and concentrate on the fact that the injectors should *not* leak gas. Time to rip apart your top end and find out what's going on. Chances are fuel is getting into the electrical connections or the injector is shot and causing the driver to overload.

Techsmurf, I believe you were right. Think I found the problem. Turns out the injectors aren't leaking. The line for the cold start valve was leaking out of the fuel rail, due to bad O-rings. I believe this is where my blown fuses are coming from, since the connectors for the injectors on that side were soaked w/ gas. I'll have it all together tomorrow, so we'll see if that fixes it. Thanks for the input Techsmurf
