I'm keeping the bird

Thanks to Lee and Charles I've decided to keep the v6 bird. We sanded the hell out of this baby today. We need a bit more primer and we are ready to paint this baby black. I was thinking about getting red firebird decals for the bumper and sail panels instead of silver ones. Whacha thinka? What ar your thoughts on the big bird on the hood?

I've always thought the bird decals on the hood were better left to the 2nd gens.... just my .02, tho

Ok, no bird on the hood but how about the red birds on the bumper and sides?

ya know you want the gold...it's nothing but high class 80's power...eh, in ur case early 90's power so it might be a tad more dated....PS, I think those hood birds look exceptionally well with the Bandit II cars, the shaker really gives a good tie-in with the firebirds pass and looks exceptional on a thirdgen.

i like the bird on the hood...even though it only came on 2nd gen's originally i still think it looks good. and if you get decals, go with red. i might be biased since one of my camaros is red w/ black stripes, but the red/black color combo is badass

im pretty sure the hood birds actually came on thirdgens also....wanan say there was an option for my 85 to have it...sure the others did too, but i think they stopped after 86.

Hood birds are good. DO it.

Third gen T/As & Formies had hood birds, w/flames out of the mouth & onto the "turbo" bulge.
