Was under the hood today and saw a spot that i never saw before. does this look like dried up coolant to you guys? those 2 hoses right over the leak are the coolant bypass lines right? or something else? i think the leak came from overhead. what do u guys think.

those two hoses ...coolant hoses that goto the tb .. yea. Could try and screw the clamps a little tigher (cant tell what kind you have, but screw ones are better IMO).

None of the autoparts stores around here had a clue what I was talking about when I tried to replace my hoses... they didnt show anything close to it in the computers either. I did the ghetto TB bypass (hose up and around deal) b/c I didnt have time to do anything else... tight time schedule when I was fixing it.

talked to someone that had this problem before. the fitting in the red box needs to be replaced. unfortutenly, he said it will break flush w/ the intake manifold when i try to take it out and will cause me grief. i hope i just get lucky and it doesnt break.
