I would like to know if I can use 5 speed transmission of S-10 on my V6 bird, mine is auto tranny, I would to get manual transmission but I didn't see any firebird in Taiwan is not auto tranny, but there are some 1995/96 S-10 L4 with 5 speed, can I swap it on my firebird easily??

Correct Ede, however the s10 shifter will bolt onto a camaro tranny. So the camaro should bolt onto the s10.

The camaro bellhousing is "rotated" to give extra clearence for the slave cylinder, which also makes the rear mount "angled".

So to make that t5 from a camaro work in my s10, I had to cut another hole in the floor, take my tranny crossmember, cut the mount off, re-angle it. I kept the s10 bell housing so I didnt have to change clutch, and I didnt want the slave cylinder angled downward because the truck was VERY low.

Also, the camaro t5, and s10 t5 do have "slightly" different gears.
