Low gas Mileage

Last time i checked my mileage i was getting 16 MPG. This engine has 15pph injectors but only because I remember reading that with a new cam and rockers, the car would need higher pph injectors. If I change them back to the original injectors, do you think I would get better MPG with the same power and no lean conditions?

BTW what mileage are you all getting?

28+ but I drive around town mostly and the vacuum gauge helps allot.

I was just watching it today and seeing how with a tad lighter pressure I could get into the better vacuum range [ thus saving gas] and still going just as fast.

Not sure what mine gets, speedo was broke for a while, now I am doing lots of repairs to it.

Currently have about 160 miles on what it "claims" is just hair over half a tank. I think more like 3/4 of a tank.

Filled up today

192 miles
10.234 gallons

18.76 MPG

This includes resetting ECM once, rebuillding top half due to loose rocker, and having to idle car for long time at idle while trying to fix a air-lock in coolent system, and some "fun" in the parking lot here at work.

Right now I don't know. My vacuum gauge is hooked into the EGR circuit so I only get readings when the pedal is used.

Its more accurate for gas saving. I did have two of them hooked up but I took one off to tune a carb and forgot where I sat it down.
