Replacement springs

I have a 92 RS V6 with the FE3 suspension. I want to maintain the soft suspension to cushion my half-century old rearend and keep the stock ride height due to the wonderfully maintained roads that we have in South Carolina (can't even get them paved in an election year). An suggestions for replacements (manufacturer and stock number) and where to purchase.

I hear moog is a good choice, but you might want to try in the suspension forum.

I second Dale's opinion to a T... moog is probably the best source for OE-style replacement springs, but the suspension board is the place you need to be confirming this...

Actually I'm 99% sure that nobody sells a v6-specific spring... unless you want aftermarket lowering stuff, and even then, the only company is Suspension Techniques. Have you tried the GM dealer for stock v6 springs?

4th gen springs will fit fine in the rear

But I wouldn't be so worried about what style of springs for a soft ride as with the shocks/struts.

Looks like I will have to go to GM for the front springs. I can get rears at a local auto parts store. Thanks

Make sure to come back and let us know what those part #s are! (Also, did you order them yet? http://www.gmpartsdirect.com might have a better price...)
