3.1 problems still, take 2

Ok Heres the whats wrong, Idles bad once its goes into closed loop. Then after a few minutes the check engine light comes on and the idle gets fine again. Im getting code 45, rich exhaust.

Now for what ive fixed/replaced:
IAC
TPS
Coolent temp sensor (for ecm)
Blocked off EGR
o2 sensor
Plugs
Wires

I ran it on a snap-on scanner and came up with nothing wrong, other than the rich exhaust, which isnt even very rich. What could be wrong???

loop mode allways sucks if you ask me. Why when I start my car I hold the R's at 2500-3000 and warm the car up for a min so it drops loop mode. A 3 wire heated O2 would kill loop mode forever.

Why it runs in loop mode, it waiting for the O2 to heat up.

1. Check ignition coil.
2. Check ignition module.
3. Check timing.
4. Replace dist cap/rotor.
5. Have injectors tested for leaks. Especially the cold start "seventh" injector.
6. Check vacuum lines. Non regulated/metered air entering engine is a bad thing.
7. Check evap (charcoal) can/filter for clogging/other problems. This is one of my problems...
8. Replace plugs with different brand/heat range.

my $ .02...

As far as i know i have not seen the cold start injector on my 3.1. IT could be because you dont have a EGR my idle was all messed up when my EGR was not working right. Also check for vac leaks. Does it happen more when u step on the brake? Could be EGR related. Or check the hose from your power booster to your engine
