don't think it was "necessarily" the 2030 cam, but it was somethign close to it. The cam grinds are essentially identical, and it was manufactured by crane, however it's not called the 2030 if i recall correctly...but might as well have been.

The 3.4 and the MPFI 2.8/3.1 the cams are almost identical from my searchings.

I'll respond with the writings of the tech writer for the GM Performance Parts book section on our 60* mills.

14031378 High Output Cam
This Flat tappet hydraulic cam is used in Hi-Perf X11 & Fuel Injected 60* engines. It has 394* intake lift & 410* exhaust lift. The intake duration is 276* at lash point & 196* at .050" from the base circle. Exhaust duration is 293* at lash point & 203* at .050" from base circle.

The following Camshaft Kits were DESIGNED & MANUFACTURED BY CRANE CAMS for GM. These KITS include 1 cam & 12 tappets
12363220
This performance flat tappet Hydrualic cam is used in the new 3.4 engine conversion package & is also applicable to 2.8-3.1 engine users. Designed to increase midrange torque & horsepower, this camshaft is ideal for daily performance driving. The duration at .050" lift (Intake/Exhaust) is 204*/216*, while the valve lift is 427*/454*. Basic RPM range is 1500 - 4500 & lobe separation is 107*.
NOTE Use this cam with valve spring 12363215 & retainer 12363216

I can quote copy from a PAW catalog about the Crane 2030 Cam also.
I can say the specs are probably nearly identical.
If ya score a 3.4 long block in great used shape you have cheap foundation for a very good power upgrade for your 3rd Gen F Body.
Just to point out, the GM Performance Parts book does state what I wrote, but GM Legal does not "allow" this GM Part numbered cam to be called the "Crane 2030 cam".
Hope this answer helps ya.
