Public Acknowledgement of misunderstanding to Maverick H1L

This post concerns:
https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=221969

This is non-tech, however I feel a need for it, and the post it is related to is now closed. I'm acknowledging that my half of that argument began with a misunderstanding that could have been remidied by me reading the upper half of the thread in the first place, and also could have been remedied by Maverick pointint out that misunderstanding also rather than turning to a violent rant which obviously violates message board rules.

Actually, now that I've been having the problem, I don't think it is a great idea to connect the vent directly to the TB...

...

It seemed like a good idea to me at the time. But it was after 3 a.m. and my mind don't like being up that late. I am going to do the same thing... I hate running rich and smelling the gas all the time! Someone actually said the car would explode... I will not state my opinion of them at this point in time. Well, I can see it happening because of the high temps and sparks in the engine all the time, but it is highly unlikely!

...

Looks like venting through the wheel well or outside engine compartment is the way to go. How is your fuel mileage with it directed outwards? (I have to ask... fuel does evaporate)
It is obvious to me now that Maverick realized before this argument began that the direct connection of the Evap tank vent to the TB was a horrible idea.. how I didn't put this together earlier is beyond me. My apologies for this misunderstanding.

On another note, I would like a similar public apology from Maverick H1L regarding his derogatory comments towards me, as he made numerous infractions to the Board Rules, as noted in the Announcement at the top of every board. https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/ann...?s=&forumid=22

If an apology is made, I request the administrators take no action against Maverick H1L concerning rules violations of the forementioned thread, though I understand that decision is not within my control. I request the reverse if no apology is made, however, because even in my rants, I did my best to be sure "name calling", "insults", and "derogatory comments" were not part part of the content, but this request does not extend to a ban, as Maverick H1L could be considered a valuable member, and I really hate to see valuable members go.

More than half was your damn fault. You need to learn to read before doing other things, like replying to nothing concerning you, perhaps?

I have definitely been a grouch over the past couple of weeks with my engine gone kablooey and all of that jazz, not to mention other things have been going down the crapper....

I owe everyone here and especially Smurf an apology for the last couple of weeks. I have been wanting to say something for the last couple days but due to power problems in a 150 year old house, I have been unable to.

SORRY! :hail: You guys are still the best in my book!
