well guys i;m curious what all you v6 guys are running for distributor caps and rotors

mines stock and i'm looking to upgrade

whatever brass one the parts stores hand me. For some reason my system wears thru them in about 2 oil changes.

Might wanna check you cap index. You car can be in proper "time" but your cap index could be off, wearing them out much faster.

gumby, are you refuing to the center terminal?

How would you go about adjusting the cap? It is held in place with ridges, and cant move.

How would you plug the hole back up that you drilled to check whatever.

BTW, I have replaced the whole distributor, both have done this, along with changing coils, wires, icms..
